You will start your journey from Venice Airport, and also there. You will take the train to Sterzing – Vipiteno in the Italian Dolomites, and ride 6 days to Venice, visiting Bolzano, Lake Garda, Verona, Vicenza, Padova and Venice, and all the beauty in between.
Cycling along the Saine river, and south of the city of Rouen, you will reach the beautiful city of Honfleur, situated on the cost of the Atlantic Ocean. From there you will ride along the beaches of Normandy, visiting several attractions, such as the American Cemetery and Memorial, and Omaha Beach, one of the landing beaches in WW2.
After 7 or 8 riding days (depending on your specific plan) you will arrive at the coastal city of Cherbourg. You will take the ferry to Portsmouth in England. Then you will continue riding for 2 days more along the English beautiful countryside, directly to your final destination: Heathrow Airport near London.

You will visit the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, where Vincent van Gogh made his last paintings, and where he died, and the village Giverny, where you can visit Claude Monet’s beautiful Gardens.

Bolzano to Venice (Via Garda Lake) Trip Details – Day by Day
Day 1
On the first day we meet at noontime at CDG airport. We unpack our bicycles and put your bicycle cases at your last night’s hotel, Hotel Villa Malpensa. Then you can start our warmup riding to our first hotel, about 20Km north of Paris city center, for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2
After breakfast, we start our 62Km bicycle ride north of Pairs. We ride along paved and unpaved bicycle roads, as well as local streets. On our way, we visit the village of Auvers-Sur-Oise, where Vincent Van Gogh died, on Jul 30, 2020. Our final destination is our small hotel near the town of Gaillon-Sur-Montcient, just 3 Km north of La Saine River, about 49 km west of Paris.

Day 3
On this day, we ride along the Saine River. Besides riding on some beautiful bicycle roads, we will visit Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny. We spend the night near Romilly-Sur-Andelle, just on the La-Andelle stream, 2 Km north of the Saine River.

Day 4
We continue riding along the Seine River, in some of its parts we are riding along La Seine à Vélo. Most of our ride today is south of the city of Rouen.

Day 5
This is the last day of riding along the Saine River. After visiting the charming and famous city of Honfleur, We finally reach our hotel, lays near the Atlantic ocean.

On this day, we begin our 3 days riding along the beaches of Normandy. We spend the night near the village of Ver-sur-Mer.
