Why Cycling Abroad From Salzburg to Vienna
Salzburg to Vienna. Riding between these two capital cities might be one of your best trips ever!. If you have the time you should spend a day or two visiting these cities, before and after the ride. But even if you decide to focus on the route connecting Prague to Berlin you will not be disappointed.
Two main rivers are flowing along the route: the Vista, and the Elba. the views are great, and like in many rivers, there is a lot to see in their surroundings: beautiful cities (like Drezden), small towns, castles, and charming villages. The food is great, the people are welcoming and the landscape is beautiful.
As some major events took place in this area, such as the German occupation during WW2, It would be very wise to make your homework before the ride, as we are aiming at a self-guided touring trip. Get to know the places before visiting them, and your experience will be complete.
